Back-to-school means new routines, new experiences, and lots of things to talk about. 🎒💬
Everyday conversations can be a simple way to support your child’s language development.
Instead of asking “How was school?”, try something more specific:
💬 “What made you laugh today?”
💬 “Who did you play with?”
💬 “What was the hardest part of your day?”
You can also go first: “I’ll tell you 3 things about my day, and then you tell me 3 things about yours. Deal?”
These small changes can help children remember details, organize their thoughts, and express themselves more clearly.

💬 “¿Con quién jugaste?”
💬 “¿Qué fue lo más difícil de tu día?”
También puedes comenzar tú: “Yo te cuento 3 cosas de mi día y tú me cuentas 3 del tuyo, ¿te parece?”
