افتتاح مركز غزة للرنين المغناطيسي في محافظة بيت لحم

في السادس من أيلول 2026، وفي إطار مشروع المساعدات اليابانية (JICA Grant Aid Project) لتزويد المؤسسات الصحية بالمعدات الطبية، أُقيم حفل افتتاح مركز غزة للرنين المغناطيسي (MRI) التابع لوزارة الصحة في محافظة بيت لحم.

وقد تشرف السيد أرايكي كاتسوهيكو، سفير الشؤون الفلسطينية وممثل اليابان لدى فلسطين، إلى جانب السيدة هيروي أونو، الممثلة العامة لمكتب جايكا في فلسطين، بالمشاركة في هذا الحدث إلى جانب دولة الدكتور محمد مصطفى، رئيس وزراء فلسطين، ووزير الصحة الدكتور ماجد أبو رمضان، ووزراء الداخلية زياد هب الريح، والحكم المحلي سامي حجاوي، والعمل إيناس العطاري، والتنمية الاجتماعية سماح حمد، والتربية والتعليم العالي د. أمجد برهم. كما حضر المشاركون مراسم الافتتاح وقاموا بجولة تفقدية في المركز.

سيسهم مركز التصوير بالرنين المغناطيسي الجديد في تعزيز القدرات التشخيصية للمستشفى وتحسين الوصول إلى خدمات التصوير الطبي المتقدمة للمرضى في محافظة بيت لحم وجنوب الضفة الغربية عمومًا. وسيكون المركز ذا أهمية خاصة لمرضى الأورام والسرطان من خلال توفير فحوصات الرنين المغناطيسي في الوقت المناسب محليًا، مما يقلل أعباء السفر والتكاليف ويضمن وصولًا أكثر عدالة إلى خدمات الرعاية الصحية عالية الجودة.

يمثل هذا المشروع محطة جديدة ومهمة في مسيرة الدعم الياباني المتواصل لقطاع الصحة الفلسطيني، ويأتي في إطار الجهود الرامية إلى تعزيز قدرات القطاع الصحي في فلسطين وتطوير الخدمات التشخيصية والطبية المقدمة للمواطنين، بما يسهم في رفع كفاءة الأداء وتحسين جودة الرعاية الصحية.

Opening ceremony of the Gaza MRI Center in Bethlehem Governorate

On September 6th, 2026, under JICA Grant Aid Project for Medical Equipment, the opening ceremony of the new Gaza Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Center at the Psychiatric Hospital in Bethlehem Governorate took place.

Mr. Araike Katsuhiko, Ambassador for the Palestinian Affairs and the Representative of Japan to Palestine joined by Ms. Hiroe Ono, the Chief Representative of JICA Palestine Office, had the honor to join H.E. Dr. Mohammad Mustafa, Prime Minister of Palestine and a group of ministers including H.E. Dr. Majed Abu Ramadan, Minister of Health, H.E. Ziad Hab Al-Rih, Minister of Interior, Minister of Local Government, Dr. Sami Hijjawi, H.E. Inas Attari Minister of Labor, H. E. Ms. Samah Hamad, Minister of Social Development attended the ceremony and toured the Center.

The new MRI Center will strengthen the hospital’s diagnostic services and improve access to advanced imaging for patients in Bethlehem, Beit Jala, and nearby communities. It will particularly support oncology patients by providing timely MRI scans locally, reducing travel burdens, lowering costs, and ensuring more equitable access to quality healthcare.

This project represents another milestone in Japan’s continued support to Palestine’s health sector, and within the framework of strengthening the capabilities of the health sector in Palestine and developing the diagnostic and medical services provided to citizens, which contributes to raising the efficiency of performance and improving the quality of health care.

تعزيز خدمات المياه لمخيم الفوّار للاجئين من خلال توقيع عقد بناء خزان مياه بتمويل من المنحة اليابانية

بتاريخ 23 آب 2026، شهدنا حدثًا هامًا بتوقيع عقد مشروع خزان مياه لمخيم الفوّار للاجئين، بحضور الدكتور ماساكي كودو، نائب مدير مكتب جايكا في فلسطين، والدكتور أحمد أبو هولي، رئيس دائرة شؤون اللاجئين، وممثلين عن سلطة المياه الفلسطينية، واللجنة الشعبية لمخيم الفوار، ووكالة الغوث الأونروا، والمقاول، وآخرين.

سيمول المشروع وينفذه على مرحلتين: الأولى بإنشاء خزان مياه بسعة 2000 متر مكعب، بتمويل من مشروع "منحة جايكا حول تحسين مخيمات اللاجئين" بتنفيذ دائرة شؤون اللاجئين، والمرحلة الثانية بإنشاء بنية تحتية داعمة لخط المياه، بدعم من البنك الإسلامي للتنمية، وتنفيذ وزارة الحكم المحلي، مما يُسهم في تحسين حصول آلاف السكان على خدمات مياه موثوقة.

يبرهن المشروع على أن التعاون والالتزام المشترك يحققان نتائج ملموسة للمجتمعات المحتاجة. ويُعدّ الحصول على مياه صحية آمنة أمرًا أساسيًا للصحة العامة، والكرامة، وجودة الحياة. يمثل هذا المشروع خطوة مهمة نحو تحسين الظروف المعيشية ودعم رفاهية سكان مخيم الفوّار للاجئين على المدى الطويل حيث أن أهالي المخيم يعانون من شح المياه وخصوصاً في فصل الصيف.

من جدير ذكره أن سكان مخيم الفوّار للاجئين هم من اختاروا هذا المشروع من خلال نهج تخطيطي تشاركي شامل.

日本の無償資金協力によりFawwar難民キャンプの貯水池整備事業の契約署名式を開催

2026年8月23日、Fawwar難民キャンプ貯水池整備事業の契約署名式が開催されました。署名式には、JICAパレスチナ事務所の工藤正樹次長、パレスチナ難民問題局（DoRA）のAhmed Abu-Holi局長をはじめ、パレスチナ水利庁、Fawwar難民キャンプ住民委員会、UNRWA、施工業者などの関係者が出席しました。

本事業は2つのフェーズで構成されています。フェーズ１では、日本の無償資金協力により2,000㎥の貯水池を建設し、フェーズ２では、イスラム開発銀行（IsDB）の支援のもと、地方自治省が送水インフラ整備を実施します。当該事業により、数千人のキャンプ住民が安定した給水サービスを受けることが期待されています。

安全な水への安定的なアクセスは、人々の健康や尊厳、そして生活の質を支える重要な基盤です。本事業は、Fawwar難民キャンプの生活環境の改善と、特に夏季の水不足に苦しむキャンプ住民の長期的な福祉向上に向けた大きな一歩となります。

本事業は、住民参加型の計画策定プロセスを通じて、Fawwar難民キャンプの住民自身によって選定されました。

Strengthening Water Services for Fawwar Refugee Camp through signing contract for construction water reservoir funded by Japanese Grant Aid

Aug 23rd, 2026, marked an important milestone with the signing of the contract for the Fawwar Refugee Camp Water Reservoir Project in presence of Dr. Masaki Kudo, Senior Representative of JICA Palestine Office and Dr. Ahmed Abu-Holi Head of Department of Refugee Affairs (DoRA) and representatives from the Palestinian Water Authority, the Popular Committee of Fawwar refugee camp, UNRWA, contractor and others.

The project will be co-financed and implemented in two phases. The first phase is the construction of a 2,000 m³ water reservoir funded by JICA Gant Aid project, and the second phase supports transmission infrastructure which will be funded by the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) and implemented by the Ministry of Local Government, helping to improve access to reliable water services for thousands of residents. With a combined investment, the project demonstrates how collaboration and shared commitment can deliver meaningful results for communities in need.

Reliable water access is essential for public health, dignity, and quality of life. This project represents a significant step toward enhancing living conditions and supporting the long-term wellbeing of Fawwar Refugee Camp residents who suffered from shortage of water supply especially in the summer season.
