Nine months after calibrated metabolic surgery, our patient demonstrates a remarkable and sustainable metabolic improvement. She is evolving with remission of major comorbidities, including Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM).
Calibrated metabolic surgery, when combined with structured multidisciplinary follow-up, remains the most effective evidence-based treatment for this highly prevalent, complex, and impactful disease.

Nine months following metabolic surgery for the treatment of metabolic obesity, our patient has experienced significant weight loss accompanied by remission of her obesity-related comorbidities.
