That’s one of the things we love most about our Family Retreats: watching children arrive as strangers and connect so naturally. 🌿🤍

27 years ago, I watched a solar eclipse for the first time. 🌙☀️

And today, I got to experience this incredible moment again — this time here in Portugal, together with my family. 🤍

For days, eclipse glasses seemed to be sold out everywhere and I had already accepted that we probably wouldn’t be able to see it properly.

And then, on our way to the beach, a complete stranger simply gave us eclipse glasses. 🥹

Such a small gesture, but one that made this moment possible for us.

Standing there together, looking up at the sky and watching the sun slowly disappear until 97% was covered felt absolutely surreal.

Sometimes it’s these unexpected moments that stay with you.

Feeling incredibly grateful that we got to experience this together — and also for the lovely stranger who made it possible. 🤍

A little moment we will remember for a very long time. 🌙✨
