Couch to 5K complete 💛
This wasn’t about speed for me. It was about patience. Strength. Respecting my body.
I took it slowly to build muscle, protect my knees, and avoid old injuries creeping back in. And with the right guidance (thank you @ Ally Wile 🙌), I learned that even a “bone on bone” knee doesn’t mean stopping—it just means being smarter.
Huge thank you to and for the strength training, and to myself (!) and for staying consistent with Pilates—it’s all played a part in getting me here. 🙌🏽🙌🏽
Sharing this in case someone needs a reminder: you don’t have to rush. You just have to start—and stay consistent.
If you’re thinking about getting back into running, or starting for the first time, I really recommend this app—it made all the difference.
Always speak to your physio or healthcare professional if you’re unsure. Your body will thank you 💛
