Honoured to share that I have been elected Board Member of the European Society of TMJ Surgeons (ESTMJS).

I have been the only Portuguese surgeon in this society since 2018. Now, joining its Board is a new responsibility and a new commitment to bringing world-class TMJ surgery to Portugal. 🇵🇹

Regressei à Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de Lisboa .ulisboa , desta vez para apresentar um seminário sobre dor orofacial e disfunção temporomandibular - importa salientar que esta é a única universidade de medicina do país que tem um seminário sobre este tema. 🧏🏻

E que privilégio foi estar num anfiteatro onde se respira história, a falar sobre uma matéria que me diz tanto e com vários alunos interessados em saber mais! 💡

Amsterdam Skills Centre | TMJ Arthroscopy Advanced Course

Another milestone in the pursuit of surgical excellence.
This week, some of the top TMJ arthroscopic surgeons in Europe gathered at the Amsterdam Skills Centre for an intensive hands-on cadaveric course — operating side by side, learning from each other, and pushing the boundaries of what we do for our patients.

From the operating training room to the dinner table, these moments remind me why I love this field: the science, the craft, and above all, the people.

Grateful to be part of this extraordinary group. 🙏
