The legacy is strong. The will to succeed has never been greater. There is a never-ending wish to capture international attention. There is an indescribable force impelling us to invest in the Science of tomorrow. And yet, our goal hasn't changed one bit - we want medical students to be aware of the scientific innovations of the present so that they can make the best out of their knowledge in the

future. What's more, we want them to get involved in research works that will, in the long turn, reveal something hitherto unknown, changing worldwide perceptions of Science. By nature, medical students are driven by an insatiable curiosity. All the knowledge they seek for is never enough. And not everything they learn comes in books. It is important to explore other paths, to take alternative roads, to dare to take one step ahead. There is a voice in our heads telling us that future doctors can make all the difference. And they may not know it yet, but their journey is about to begin. The iMED Conference® is on its way to becoming the perfect springboard for brilliant, young minds. SIM Challenge Competition

🩺 Ready to put your clinical skills to the test? The SIM Challenge Competition is back! 🔥

🏥 In this competition, teams of 4 medical students from 4th to 6th year at NOVA Medical School will face a 10-minute simulated clinical scenario using a high-fidelity simulator.

💉 Your mission? Assess the patient, make the right decisions under pressure, provide appropriate treatment, and achieve clinical stabilisation — all while showing strong teamwork and communication.

🏆 The best team will earn the chance to represent NOVA Medical School at SimUniversity Portugal 2027 and Portugal at the SESAM Congress across Europe.
