Olá all! ☀️ It’s been a while since I last introduced myself here, so if you’ve recently started following my journey, here’s an opportunity to get to know me better. 👇🏼

My name is Irene Miranda, and I am the alchemist behind Da Lua Herbals’ plant-based remedies. I have lived many lives before becoming who I am today. 🪐

Born and raised in Belgium, from the love of a Spanish mother and a Portuguese father, I travelled and lived in many places in search of deeper meaning and belonging—before finally finding both in Portugal. Here in the Oeste, I now lead .vermelha.v, a seaside regenerative project with a naturally rebuilt house and a medicinal and food garden. 🌊

I host and curate creative, community-oriented events, offering hands-on workshops, retreats, and women’s circles—both at Casa Vermelha and worldwide. Infused with folk herbalism, ancient wisdom, and regenerative principles, my mission is to share a poetic worldview—one that captivates and reconnects us to our roots, to nature, and to each other. 🌿

But beyond being an herbalist, event producer, and women’s cycle educator & therapist, I contain multitudes. I like to remind myself (and others) of this because language can be limiting—we often condition ourselves by defining, oversimplifying, and putting things into boxes. Yet, we are all complex, multi-layered, and multi-talented beings! 🌌

What I share on social media is just one of the many "Irenes" that live within me. So, I invite you to look beyond the surface of the screen and meet the other "mes" out there—in this crazy ride we call life. 😉

PS: I made the difficult choice to limit most of my communication here to English for practical reasons, but feel free to reach out to me in any of my native languages—Spanish, Portuguese, or French—where I can often express myself with more depth. 💫🥰
