This upcoming New Moon coincides with a Total Solar Eclipse, a rare celestial moment that has long been seen as a symbolic pause between endings and beginnings. As the moon briefly veils the sun, we are invited to turn our attention inward, letting go of old stories, expectations or ways of being that no longer serve us, while making space for what is ready to emerge.
Rather than striving to become someone new, this gathering is an invitation to return to your own inner flame, to reconnect with your heart, your body and return to what shines naturally within you, your warmth, your creativity, your courage and authentic expression.

🔥💃🏻 Together, in the beauty of a lakeside setting, we will begin around the fire with an offering and intention. Through conscious breath, grounding, heart-opening practices and free movement, we will gently awaken the body as the eclipse reaches its peak.

🌊🌼 Afterwards, we will gather for a sun-infused floral water ritual and offering, using water as the carrier of life along with flowers that evoke warmth, vitality, beauty, courage and openness.

🪵 We will then invite sharing (with some tea) and a closing of our circle and sacred space.
No previous experience is needed, only your presence.

First crop in the young orchard, the almonds are ready for picking, as are the mulberries, peaches and nectarines. Next will come the figs and the carobs, followed by mangoes, bananas and guavas. The apricots, apples and pears began the fruit season and the olives will signal its over.

Of Cambodian origin and adopted, Bopha is a woman who has walked between worlds. In 2012, after twenty years of marriage and corporate life, she left everything behind to follow a silent call, diving deeply into ta**ra, intuitive touch and the rediscovery of my own body, and to accompany her daughter’s healing journey. I love to share what I love and when guests align, every effort is worth it. One of my joys is seeing guests reading under the pine trees in a hammock, or relaxing on the deck by the lake, serenaded by the frogs, instead of rushing off to the beach. Really happy too to get Portuguese guests who are surprised at the oasis that is Golden Web.

🌿🥁 Shamanic Drum Making Workshop with Santiago Calapaqui 🥁🌿

You are warmly invited to join us for a special day of creation, connection, and craftsmanship at The Golden Web Retreat – Moncarapacho, Algarve.

On this day, each participant will be guided through the process of making their own shamanic drum — an ancient ceremonial instrument that has accompanied many traditions as a tool of connection, expression, grounding, and personal exploration.

✨ The drum you create carries your own hands, your own intention, and your own journey.
From preparing the natural hide, shaping the wooden hoop, weaving the cords, and bringing each element together, the making process becomes a mindful experience of patience, presence, and relationship with the materials.

Working with natural elements — wood, animal hide, and earth-based materials — invites us to reconnect with the rhythms of nature and the wisdom of the land. As the drum takes form, many experience the process as a personal dialogue with the Earth, a moment of listening, and an opportunity to create an instrument that reflects their own energy and path.

🌎✨ Guided with care, respect, and humility by Santiago Calapaqui, artisan maker of ceremonial instruments, this workshop offers a calm and unhurried space where each person can follow their own pace while learning traditional techniques inspired by ancestral knowledge and sacred geometry.

• 42 cm Douglas wood or Scandinavian wood hoop
• Natural Scottish cowhide or goat hide
• 13 meters of natural fiber cord
• Handcrafted drumstick
