Every Thursday evening on Alvor Beach, we practise together as the sun sets. 🧡

All levels are welcome - from beginners to experienced yogis, and those enjoying a little holiday time by the sea.

One thing people say to me after beach yoga, almost every single time, is how much the sound of the ocean helped them switch off.

And it makes sense. The steady rhythm of the waves gives your mind something gentle to rest on, making it a little easier to let go of everything else and come back to the present moment.

I think that’s one of the things I love most about practising on the beach.

Reverse Warrior under an endless blue sky 💙

What we love most about beach yoga is how being surrounded by nature helps us naturally, almost subconsciously, relax and let go - bare feet in the sand, a sea breeze on your skin, birdsong all around, and that huge open sky stretching overhead.

In Alvor, our beach yoga sessions are open to all levels, inviting you to slow down, ground yourself, and move with nature.
