When the body is in fight or flight mode cold water immersion can be very helpful.
This week we are starting the day at 7am (with the more adventurous guests) with a cold Atlantic bath to teach the mind and body how to regulate under challenge.
The cold wakes everything up.
Your breath shortens, your body tenses, your system goes into alert.
Then you’re guided to soften inside it.
Zarqa teaches you specific breathing patterns designed to shift you out of sympathetic dominance.
You leave with portable techniques you can use at home when panic hits.
First day in the Ocean the group managed 10min.
