Cannprisma CANNPRISMA was formed with the objective of becoming a reference in the Research, Transformation and Cultivation of medicinal Cannabis.

CANNPRISMA is an Integrated Premium Medical Grade Cannabis company, with 100% Portuguese capital, dedicate to the cultivation and transformation of Cannabis for medicinal purposes. CANNPRISMA is an experienced, skilled team with a solid past in the agriculture and pharmaceutical industry that joined forces to fulfill a common dream: to provide high end, premium quality, organic certified GMP canna

bis products to the increasing number of people that find relief on the therapeutic properties of the cannabis plant. Its founders share the social concern of being able to provide the neediest patients with medicines, substances or preparations based on the cannabis plant which (dried flower or oil) are considered appropriate for therapeutic indications. Our market action also takes into account the surrounding community, acting reliably and honestly with all our partners and the natural environment. We believe we should care about nature and about our community, ensuring a healthy bright future of the next generations.

Before a single gram leaves our processing unit, a person looks at every flower.

Inspection and correction is the longest stage of all up to 26 days. Machines do part of the work; the final judgment is human. Our head of processing and his team check, sort, correct, and only then does anything move toward EU-GMP manufacturing.

It's not the fastest way to run a unit. It's the way you run one when what you ship ends up in a pharmacy. The field is where the plant starts. This is where it earns the next step.

There's a stage in medical cannabis production with no shortcut. We just spent two weeks on it.

After drying, every flower is trimmed by hand. Then it stabilizes for 12 to 15 days. This is the curing stage, where moisture settles, where one flower starts to behave like the next, where a batch becomes consistent enough to put a pharmacist's name behind it.

It's the difference between dried cannabis and flower ready for pharmaceutical-grade manufacturing. Slow on purpose, because the alternative shows up later and you can't fix it then.

Miguel Santos, on the stage most people never see. Episode 2 of Inside Cannprisma.

Harvest is the moment everyone photographs. It's also the moment the real work begins.

The cut flower doesn't go anywhere for the next two weeks. It goes into our drying rooms — 14 to 16 days, controlled, slow, monitored daily. Rush this stage and you pay for it downstream: in moisture that isn't even, in terpenes that don't survive, in a flower that looks finished and isn't.

This is the part of the chain that gets no attention and decides almost everything. Miguel Santos runs it. In Episode 2 of Inside Cannprisma, he walks through what happens between the field and the pharmacy.

Maryjane Berlin , B2B Day, 11 June, Messe Berlin.

The day after Portugal celebrates itself, Cannprisma is in Berlin doing the work that justifies the celebration.
Mary Jane's frame this year is "where cannabis business gets real."
Real, for us, is what shows up in batch records, validated methods, and successful releases. Each day at our vertically integrated EU-GMP operation, serving European distributors and pharmacies, batch by batch.

If you're at Messe Berlin on Thursday, find us. Bring the technical questions.

There is a Portuguese audacity that has run through centuries, from the 15th-century discoveries to the medical cannabis sector in 2026. The subject has changed. The character hasn't.

Today is the Dia de Portugal.

Five centuries of making a name by going first into uncertain ground. The navigators who opened routes across the Atlantic. The physicians and scientists who opened paths in health and research. The emigrants who opened communities across five continents. Each generation with its own form of courage.

Today's generation keeps opening ground on new fronts. In 2025, Portugal exported 55,164 kg of medical cannabis to Germany alone — 220% more than the year before (BfArM Bundesopiumstelle, Q1 2026 release).

A sector regulated since 2018, serving European patients through clinical prescription.

Cannprisma is part of that generation, an EU-GMP operation in the Algarve, with the same audacity of going where few have gone before that has always defined this country.

8 June. World Brain Tumour Day.

Initiated in 2000 by the German Brain Tumour Association, the date marks a quiet anniversary in neuro-oncology, a field where treatment is heavy, and the symptom burden runs alongside it.

In Europe, brain and central nervous system tumours account for around 67,500 new cases a year, and over 277,000 people live with a diagnosis at any given time (GLOBOCAN 2022, IARC).

Surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, often layered, often prolonged. Around them a constellation of symptoms persists, pain, nausea, sleep disturbance, fatigue, appetite loss. Cannabinoid-based therapies are among the clinical options that oncologists and palliative care teams evaluate within structured protocols. The decision is theirs.

What Cannprisma operates is the layer underneath that decision: EU-GMP manufacturing, consistent cannabinoid profiles, batch-to-batch validation, traceable supply.

When patients carry this much, the supply chain cannot be the variable.

Last week, much of the Remexian team spent the day at our EU-GMP facility in the Algarve, walking the operation stage by stage.

→ Processing
→ Manufacturing
→ Quality Control
→ Batch Release
→ Logistics

Every link of the chain we manufacture for them, in the room where it happens.
This is what a serious B2B partnership looks like at the operational layer, not at the signing of an MSA, but on the day the team that handles the product wants to see how it's made, and the supplier doesn't hesitate to open every door.

For our partners, EU-GMP isn't certification framed on a wall. It's what holds up when their team walks through it.

To the Remexian team, thank you for the rigour of the questions, and for a tour that read the chain from the inside.

30 May, World Multiple Sclerosis Day.

Around 2.9 million people worldwide live with multiple sclerosis (Atlas of MS, MSIF, 2023). In Portugal, more than 8,000 (SPEM).

An autoimmune condition of the central nervous system, currently incurable, with clinical manifestations that vary from person to person.

Today we recognise everyone living with MS, those who research it, and those who care for them.
