Most insect bites are harmless and get better with simple home care. 🌿

✔️ Keep the area clean. ✔️ Help relieve itching with appropriate treatments. ✔️ Watch for signs of infection or worsening symptoms. ✔️ For bee stings, gently scrape the stinger off with a credit card or similar flat object—avoid using tweezers.

🚨 Seek medical attention if your child has: • Increasing redness, swelling, or pus • Severe pain • Fever • Difficulty breathing or swelling of the face/lips (this is an emergency) • A bite that continues to worsen despite home care

A little bite can usually be managed at home, but knowing the warning signs makes all the difference. 💙
