Full Job Description
Logistics & Accountant
Responsibilities:
โข Arrange shipments based on product availability and customer requests
โข Track orders to ensure timely deliveries
โข Prepare shipping documents (like commercial invoice, certificate of origin, airwaybill and bill of lading or other necessary shipping documents)
โข Coordinate supply chain procedures to maximize quality of delivery.
โข Schedule shifts for our drivers and warehouse staff.
โข Maintain updated records of orders, suppliers and customers.
โข Oversee the levels of our warehouse stock and place orders as needed.
โข Provide information to sales department about the status of their orders.
โข Assist in accurate and timely preparation of the monthly payroll.
โข Input payroll actions including new hires, changes, benefits, personal information.
โข Sorts, copies and files payroll notices and pay reports.
โข Prepares and processes electronic payments/cheque requisitions for monthly remittance deadlines.
โข Posting account transactions (Receivables, Payables & others) using QuickBooks.
Requirements and skills
โข Work experience as a Logistics Administrator, Warehouse Administrator or similar role
โข Excellent organizational and time-management skills
โข Solid understanding of the three levels of QuickBooks Online application: Free, Basic, and Plus
โข Good communication skills
โข Bachelorโs Degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance.
โข Strong analytical and organizational skills.
โข Ability to work in a fastโpaced, demanding work environment.
โข Be professional and courteous.
โข Advanced capability in using Excel and accounting packages.
โข Excellent communication skills.
โข Willing to cross train with others in the department.
