HMC’s Qatar Rehabilitation Institute (QRI) continues to strengthen Qatar's position as a global leader in rehabilitation medicine.
Hamad Medical Corporation’s Qatar Rehabilitation Institute (QRI) continues to support Qatar’s role as a regional center of excellence in healthcare and one of the world’s leading countries in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation. Dr. Fatma Al-Kuwari, Senior Consultant of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at HMC’s Qatar Rehabilitation Institute, has recently been appointed as the Eastern Mediterranean Region Representative to the Assembly of Delegates of the International Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (ISPRM). Her appointment provides an important platform to advocate for regional priorities and contribute to shaping the future of rehabilitation medicine, while highlighting the expertise and leadership being developed within Qatar's advanced healthcare system.
QRI’s growing international credibility creates valuable opportunities for worldwide collaboration across specialties, facilities, and healthcare sectors. Earlier this year, at the ISPRM World Congress in Vancouver, Canada, QRI actively participated in scientific presentations, workshops, and strategic discussions with international partners, including representatives from the World Health Organization and the United Nations. These engagements provided an opportunity to showcase Qatar’s rehabilitation model, strengthen partnerships, and contribute to global discussions on integrated, person-centered rehabilitation systems.
