Why reduction alone is not always enough. 👇

Breast reduction removes volume.

But volume is not always the only problem.

When the breast has also lost its position, a lift is needed to reposition the tissue and reshape the breast around the new size.

Nu există alegerea perfectă. Există alegerea potrivită. 👇

Transferul de grăsime folosește țesut propriu, fără corp străin. Dar volumul final este mai puțin predictibil și necesită suficient țesut adipos disponibil pentru recoltare.

Implantul siliconic oferă un volum constant și predictibil. Dar presupune un dispozitiv medical permanent care poate necesita înlocuire în timp.

Ambele opțiuni au indicații clare. Alegerea depinde de anatomia pacientei, de volumul dorit și de ce este dispusă să accepte ca si compromis.

Grăsimea proprie nu e mereu ideală…👇

Transferul de grăsime folosește țesut propriu, ceea ce elimină riscul unui corp străin.

Însă rezultatul depinde de cât țesut adipos poate fi recoltat și de câtă grăsime supraviețuiește după transfer.

O parte din grăsimea transferată se absoarbe de organism în lunile care urmează. Procentul variază de la pacientă la pacientă și nu poate fi controlat cu precizie.

Aceasta înseamnă că volumul final este mai puțin predictibil decât în cazul unui implant siliconic, unde dimensiunea rămâne constantă.

The surgery takes around 60 minutes. Healing takes months. 👇

Most patients can return to light daily activities within a few days, but getting back to exercise and physical exertion usually takes several weeks.

When the implant is placed under the pectoral muscle, it’s normal to feel some tightness at first. The muscle needs time to adapt to the new volume, and this sensation gradually improves.

A supportive bra is usually worn for 3 to 6 weeks to help minimize swelling. As the tissues gradually settle, the implants soften and move into a more natural position.

But the final result takes time. It can take between 6 and 12 months for the breasts to fully settle and for the final shape to appear.

And one important thing: post-operative instructions are not optional. They’re part of the result.

Breast Implant or Lift with Implant? Here’s why.👇

An implant adds volume, but it doesn’t necessarily lift a breast that has dropped. When there is significant sagging, a breast lift is needed to reposition and reshape the tissue, while the implant restores volume and fullness.

The right answer between the two depends mainly on your anatomy.

There are exceptions, however: in selected patients with mild sagging, an implant alone may provide the desired result.
