Most people see the result. Very few see what happens before it.

Sometimes my day starts with consultations before surgery. It’s absolutely fine. 👌🏻

Surgical markings on the mannequin are very useful for the patient when explaining the technique used and when diving into anatomy details, before any decision is made. Also, breast implant samples help for a better understanding of the surgical process and outcome.
Listening, assessing and creating personalized treatments are part of the process.

Then somewhere between patients, the microphone goes on and the filming begins.

Finally, it’s time to go to the OR which is my happy place. 😊

Lumps after lip injections are not always a sign that something went wrong.

Hyaluronic acid attracts water. After injection, it is normal for swelling to occur as the tissues respond to inflammation caused by the microtrauma from the needle, because of the volume of filler injected and the water attracted by the filler itself.

What requires immediate attention is a different set of signs. Intense pain during the procedure, pain that persists afterwards, or a sudden change in colour are all signs that should be reported to your doctor without delay.

The session takes 15 minutes. The results can last around 6 months.

Botulinum toxin is injected in microdoses at precise points across the upper third of the face.
Between the eyebrows also known as the glabella area, the forehead, and the crow’s feet at the
outer corners of the eyes.

Each session begins with disinfection of the treatment area, followed by marking the injection points with a medical marker to ensure precision.
Effects typically settle in between 10 and 14 days. You can return to your normal activities the
same day, with a few simple precautions for the first 24 hours.

Picking a shape is easy. Knowing which shape works with your anatomy is the part that actually matters.

Round implants have symmetrical upper and lower poles, which creates maximum upper pole fullness and a perkier appearance.

Anatomic implants have a concave upper pole and a convex lower pole, designed to follow the natural contour of the breast more closely.

One consideration specific to anatomic implants is the risk of rotation. Because the shape is directional, any shift in position changes the appearance of the breast in a way that a round implant would not.

Neither shape is universally better. The right choice depends on your anatomy, your starting point, and what result you are actually looking for. That is a conversation worth having with your surgeon before deciding.

Your implants haven’t changed. Your body has.

Pregnancy, weight changes, and the natural aging of breast tissue, all affect how a breast looks and feels over time.
Often, the implant stays the same. The tissue around it doesn’t.

Sometimes the implant itself is the cause. Rotation, rupture or capsular contracture can each alter the shape of the breast in ways that aren’t always immediately obvious.

For some, revision isn’t about a complication at all. It’s about aesthetic ideals that have shifted since the original surgery. Whether that means changing the size of the implants, adding a lift or even removing them, depends entirely on the individual.

Do breast implants expire?

This is one of the most common questions I hear during consultations.
The reality is that breast implants do not have an exact “expiration date” like an ordinary product. There is no rule saying they must automatically be replaced after 10 years if everything is normal.
However, breast implants are not considered lifetime devices. Over time, the body changes, tissues evolve, and certain conditions may appear, such as capsular contracture, implant rupture, or aesthetic changes related to pregnancy, weight fluctuations, or the natural aging process.
This is why regular follow-up is essential. Clinical examinations and recommended imaging help evaluate both the implants and the surrounding tissues properly over time.
The goal is not only volume, but a result that remains harmonious, safe, and natural for many years.

🇷🇴 Te-ai gândit vreodată că buza superioară nu ține doar de volum?

Multe paciente își doresc o buză mai vizibilă și primul impuls este să adauge volum.
Însă, atunci când distanța dintre nas și buză este mai mare, injectările nu pot corecta eficient această proporție.

Operația de Lip Lift acționează diferit.
Ridică buza superioară, crește expunerea acesteia și redefinește proporțiile feței, pentru un rezultat mai echilibrat.

Este o intervenție chirurgicală de aproximativ 45 de minute, realizată cu anestezie locală.
Pacienta poate pleca acasă în aceeași zi, iar recuperarea este ușoară. Firele se îndepărtează după 5 zile, iar o ușoară senzație de tensiune în primele 24–48 de ore este normală.

Incizia este plasată discret, sub nas, urmând șanțul natural, astfel încât cicatricea devine fină și discretă.

Lip lift-ul nu înlocuiește injectările în toate cazurile.
