FINAL REMINDER to collect your adrenaline devices from school! 🏫
Don’t forget to collect your child’s adrenaline (epinephrine) device (Anapen® or EpiPen®) from school on the last day of term. If your child attends a Children's Education and Care (CEC) service that takes a break at the end of the year it is important to also collect their adrenaline device on their last day. It’s best to have both devices with you over the holiday break as there is lots of socialising, many activities, travel for some and changes in usually safety routines. This makes the holiday period a time of increased risk.
⏰ Set a reminder on your phone to return it on day one when your child returns back to the CEC service or school.
Remember to check the expiry dates on the adrenaline devices. The expiry date can be found on the device and on the box. We encourage you to mark this date in your diary.
Remember: If your adrenaline device expires in January 2025, the expiry date is the 31st of January (not the beginning of January).
