Every birth changes two people. A baby is born but then, a mother is born too.

We often celebrate the arrival of a new baby, and rightly so. But in that same moment, a woman steps into a new version of herself. Whether it's her first child or her sixth, birth leaves its mark. It shapes how she sees herself, how she enters motherhood, and how she remembers one of the most significant days of her life.

That's why your experience matters. Not because birth has to be perfect, but because the way you are treated can stay with you long after the contractions have ended. Feeling heard, respected, supported, and involved in decisions can make all the difference. Equally, feeling ignored, dismissed, or powerless can leave wounds that are not always visible.

A healthy baby is a beautiful blessing. But a mother's wellbeing matters too. Her confidence matters. Her dignity matters. Her memories matter. Caring well for a woman isn't supposed to be an extra. It is part of caring well for her baby.

When we honour the mother, we do more than improve her birth experience. We strengthen the beginning of her motherhood. And that foundation can shape not only how she remembers her birth, but how she carries herself into the days, months, and years that follow.

Something beautiful is on its way.

Over the past few months, I've been quietly building a space that reflects the heart behind Organic Baby Birth. A place where women can learn about birth without fear, ask questions without judgment, and feel supported every step of the way.

Our new website is almost here, and I can't wait to welcome you in.

Expect birth education grounded in evidence, guidance that honours your autonomy, resources for mothers and aspiring doulas, and a community that believes women deserve to be informed, respected, and supported.

This is only the beginning.
See you then, in shāʾ Allāh. 🤍

A visa run to Sharjah… because sometimes staying where your heart feels at peace requires a little travelling, planning and patience.

My journey has taken me through different countries, motherhood, divorce, rebuilding, raising six children and learning to trust Allah through every unexpected turn.

And in many ways, this is exactly why Organic Baby Birth exists.

Birth can also take us somewhere we did not plan to go. Plans change. Fear appears. People may tell us what we “have to” do. But a change in direction does not mean you lose your voice.

Whether you are travelling between countries or moving through pregnancy and birth, knowledge gives you confidence. Support helps you stay grounded. And trusting Allah does not mean doing nothing—it means taking the right steps while knowing He is the best of planners.

I teach women to prepare for birth with education, calmness and confidence, so they can make informed decisions instead of being carried along by fear.

Sometimes the road changes… but you are still allowed to know where you are going.

🤍 You don’t have to prepare for birth alone.

One of the biggest things I’ve learned over the years is that women don’t need more fear… they need more knowledge.

Whether you’re expecting your first baby, preparing for a VBAC, hoping for a natural birth, recovering from a previous birth trauma, or simply want to understand your options, I’ve created a FREE WhatsApp community just for you.

Inside you’ll find:
🌿 Evidence-informed birth education
🤍 Encouragement and support
📚 Practical tips to help you prepare with confidence
💬 A community of like-minded women
🕌 A welcoming space for Muslim women from around the world

My goal is simple:
To help you approach birth feeling informed, calm, and confident—whatever your birth journey looks like.

Education, not pressure.
Information, not fear.
Support, not the system.

This distinction matters.

When women describe fear surrounding labour, they are often describing something deeper than contractions.

They fear not being heard. They fear not understanding what is happening. They fear being pressured into decisions. They fear losing control over an experience that matters deeply to them.

This is why education, communication, and respectful support are so important.

Women deserve more than safe births. They deserve respectful births too.

During my time away, I realised something that has stayed with me ever since.

The internet rewards whoever speaks first, loudest, or most often. Birth doesn't work that way. Birth asks us to slow down, observe, listen, and trust. It reminded me that one of the greatest gifts we can give a pregnant woman isn't more information for the sake of it, but the right information, shared in the best way possible.

As I return, I want this page to feel different. Yes, I'll continue sharing practical birth education, but I also want to share the reflections that don't always fit neatly into a list of tips. The lessons motherhood has taught me. The moments that changed how I see birth. The questions that made me rethink everything.

If those reflections speak to you, I'd love to write to you personally. Look out for updates about my email list, where I'll be sharing these deeper conversations before they appear anywhere else.

I don't think I realised just how much life can change until I looked back.

A long social media hiatus. Three countries. New conversations. New perspectives. Time to observe, to listen, and to grow in ways that wouldn't have happened if I'd stayed busy trying to keep up online.

Some of those lessons had nothing to do with birth.

And somehow, all of them had everything to do with birth.

They reminded me that the best things in life are rarely rushed. That wisdom often grows quietly. That women don't just need more information, they need space to process it. They need someone to remind them that their bodies were designed with incredible intelligence, and that birth deserves more than fear, noise, and rushed decisions.

As I return to this space, that's what I hope you'll find here.

Not just tips or checklists, but honest reflections, evidence-based education, and conversations that help you see birth through a different lens. Whether you're preparing to welcome your first baby, your sixth, or you're simply curious about birth, I hope you'll leave every post feeling a little more informed and a little more at peace.

And if reflections like these are your kind of read, you'll love what's coming to my email list.

That's where I'll be sharing the stories, lessons, and thoughts that are too personal and too in-depth for Instagram.

I can't wait to write to you there. 🌼🧡
