Assalaamu alaikum!
I hope you'll are doing well🌸
You have read this hadith so many time right?
Today, learn how you can relate this with preparation during pregnancy for labour and birth!
You think preparation is not necessary. You have mothers around you telling all the horror birth stories about their birth and sharing all the non-evidenced based stuff.
Think of your big day and then you realize, how will I cope with the contractions on the day of labour? How will I know when I head to the hospital, if I go early and I have not been dilated they might give me pitocin or if that fails then I may land up in to an emergency c-section. What if I go late and things doesn't seem as I wanted.
All these things come up in your brain that makes you feel anxious, worry and tense. And then you just say, okay Allāh will do whatever is best for us. Isn't it wrong to say when you yourself is not prepared for it? Just relying onto Allāh's plan is not a good idea. You must prepare for it and then rely so whatever the outcome will come, you will be satisfied and you can tell to yourself as I have done whatever the best possible I could do for myself and my baby but Allāh had planned something which is better for both of us. Right?
That's the reason PREPARATION OF BIRTH AND LABOUR IS SO SO IMPORTANT!
You know what is happening in your body, you know where you have to say yes or no to an interventions, you become confident, satisfied and empower and relaxed!
Investing in childbirth prepartion never goes in vain!
