A few more reflections after the Nada Yoga Workshop and days spent with Swami Madhuram 🌿
Before we only knew each other superficially. Hosting him in Helsingborg gave me the opportunity to observe not only the teacher and musician, but also the person behind the program.
One of the strongest impressions I take with me is his ability to remain grounded in the heart and in the body rather than in constant mental activity.
There was never a need to fill every silence with words. It was completely natural to pause a conversation, sit quietly, look out the window, or simply be present. And then, a moment later, laugh wholeheartedly about something completely ordinary.
It reminded me how much of modern life is spent in thought, planning and analysis, and how rarely we allow ourselves to simply be.
Another thing that touched me was his trust in life and in the intuitive voice within. Again and again I noticed how he listened inwardly rather than trying to control every detail. There was a quiet confidence that things would unfold as they should.
The workshop itself reflected this beautifully. Rather than following a rigid structure, the program seemed to emerge organically from the people present, the atmosphere of the venue and the spirit of the moment. Music, silence, meditation and teachings were woven together in a way that felt alive and responsive.
In a world that constantly encourages us to think more, plan more and do more, perhaps one of the greatest lessons is learning to trust, to listen and to allow.
Thank you, Madhuram, for that reminder. 🙏✨
