Are you your beliefs?

There was a time in my life where I was adamant that I was indeed my beliefs. Anyone who didn't agree with me I thought wasn't accepting me as a person.

It took outgrowing my beliefs to realize that I was still myself even though I believed differently than before. There was so much more to me than I even realized.

Changing my beliefs also made me realize how much religion influenced my identity- on purpose.

Spirituality should set you free, not keep you from expressing yourself.
