OUR DNA

There are a lot of places that do what we do. They share the same programmes and qualifications as us. But, our families choose us because of the integrity in our work, how fiercely we love each child, and ultimately, for Who we are. We are Believers, Heros, Architects, Dreamers, and Scientists in bodies of Occupational, Educational, and Speech Therapists with a common Mission and Belief.

They may not have the words to communicate, movement to explore, and the learning to connect. But they have the same RIGHTS. For every child with a learning disability, a communication impairment, and who is different. We are here.

“Teacher, will you come watch me in my school parade?” 🎉

When one of her former students invited her back to witness a proud moment, Teacher Shanthi was reminded that the bonds built at Leapfrogs go far beyond the classroom.

It’s moments like these that remind us why we do what we do

Another activity you’ll often see at Leapfrogs is our balance and coordination circuit like this one where kids walk across a row of bricks. 🧱

This fun challenge isn’t just about getting from one end to the other. It’s about helping children:
✅ Build gross motor strength
✅ Improve postural control and balance
✅ Develop body awareness and spatial orientation

These are foundational skills that support everything from climbing stairs to sitting upright in class

There are moments when something just doesn’t feel quite right, and as a parent, that instinct is hard to ignore.

What many families don’t realise is that early support can make a meaningful difference in how children build confidence, communication, and everyday skills.

The earlier support begins, the more natural it feels for the child because they are still learning and developing these foundations.

If this has been on your mind, it may be worth finding out what support could look like.

Say hello to Ms. Lim! 👋💛

We’re excited to introduce Ms. Lim, our Executive Function (EF) Educator, who brings 9 years of experience in supporting children’s learning and development.

Executive Function skills help children focus, manage emotions, stay organised, and follow through with tasks - skills that are increasingly important in today’s fast-paced world.

With her years of experience, Ms. Lim is passionate about helping children build these foundational skills in a supportive and engaging environment, empowering them to become more confident and independent learners.

Every child develops at their own pace, but sometimes the gaps only become clearer over time.

What starts as small challenges can slowly affect how a child learns, interacts, and expresses themselves in daily life 🧩

Early intervention is designed to support children before these gaps widen, giving them the tools to learn in a structured and confident way.

Encouraging your toddler to communicate doesn’t require special tools — it often happens in the little everyday moments.

Talking during play, reading together, and giving them time to respond can go a long way in helping them build language skills.

Every child develops at their own pace, but consistent interaction helps create a strong foundation for communication.

Many parents are surprised when they first visit Leapfrogs.

Because we're not a tuition centre. We don't focus on drilling academic content or helping children memorise answers.

Instead, we work on the skills that support learning itself — communication, attention, emotional regulation, social interaction, and executive functioning.

When these foundations are stronger, children are often better equipped to learn, participate, and thrive both in school and daily life.

Throwback to our getaway last year! ✨

The sea breeze, the sunshine, the laughter, and plenty of memories made ☀️🌊🤍

Our team headed to Desaru for a well-deserved getaway, and it was exactly what we needed.

We explored, played games, enjoyed good food, shared stories, and spent quality time together outside of the therapy rooms.

These moments remind us that a strong team isn't only built through work. It's built through connection, trust, and shared experiences too.

We're returning refreshed, recharged, and ready to continue supporting our children and families with the same heart and dedication 💛

Speech therapy sessions follow a routine that’s designed to be predictable, structured, and engaging for your child. Starting with connection, moving into focused practice, and building skills through repetition.

And the routine doesn’t end in the clinic alone. Parents are a key part of progress. Simple daily interactions like reading together, using visuals, and practising targets regularly help children generalise new skills into everyday life.

Speech therapy isn’t just what happens during the session, it’s what happens when learning meets consistency at home.

Sometimes parents hesitate… because they think child therapy means something is ‘wrong.’

It’s really about giving children the right support. Whether it’s learning how to express themselves, stay focused, or manage big emotions.
