From herniated disc surgery to clearing his IPPT with ease 💪🏼
In July 2024, he took his last IPPT.
Then 2025 came with a completely different challenge — persistent back pain that eventually led to surgery for a herniated disc.
For someone who was used to being active and working towards fitness goals, this wasn’t simply about getting back into exercise.
It was about learning to trust his body again.
When he and his wife started training with me, we didn’t chase heavy weights or quick results.
We focused on the fundamentals ➡️ mobility, strength, control, proper movement and, most importantly, consistency.
There were no shortcuts.
I kept reminding them:
“Consistency is key.”
And over time, the small efforts started adding up.
His back began to feel better.
His strength improved.
His confidence returned.
His fitness goals started becoming achievable again.
And then came the moment that made the journey even more meaningful…
He cleared his IPPT with ease 🎯🔥
His words truly meant a lot to me:
“While it didn’t magically vanish overnight, Emy kept drilling into us that ‘consistency is key’ — and she was spot on.”
This is exactly why I believe fitness and rehabilitation are not about chasing perfection.
It’s about showing up, doing the right things consistently, respecting your body, and giving yourself time to progress.
One session may not change everything.
But one session, followed by another, and another — can change where you are months later.
Proud of your progress and grateful for the trust you both placed in me throughout this journey. 🙏🏻
From pain.
To rebuilding.
To progress.
To performance.
Consistency really does make the difference.
