Our CEO Isaac was on an AirAsia flight today when came through. Two rows ahead, Tony asked someone what they were reading. So Isaac did what any shameless founder would do and pulled out his own inflight read, How Brands Grow. (He was three pages in.)

It worked. Tony asked what he was building.

Isaac's answer: "Do you drink?"

It took real work to figure out how much of our formula could actually fit in a gummy without it falling apart. Turns out the honest answer is 10–15% of total weight, tops. So when a label's own numbers add up to double or triple that, it's a fair question: how?

Here's the other thing: DHM, one of the most-studied ingredients for supporting alcohol metabolism -- is naturally, seriously bitter. Masking that in just 1–2 gummies is a real ask, even before you get to the dose itself.

And manufacturers aren't always upfront about what's actually inside. We learned that firsthand - one manufacturer we worked with secretly cut our active ingredients by 75%, without telling us. Good thing we caught it before it ever went out under our name.

So here's our honest advice: read the label. And know that if a hangover gummy is actually working, it probably won't taste like straight-up candy.
