Beecroft was founded by Singaporean Exotic Specialist Dr Rina, together with Specialist Veterinary Surgeon Dr Patrick Maguire and Internal Medicine Specialist Dr Anne-Claire, with one simple belief: every pet deserves specialist care guided by clinical expertise, compassion and what’s best for the patient.

As an independently owned specialist and emergency hospital, every decision we make is driven by patient care from investing in advanced technology and specialist training to building a collaborative multidisciplinary team for the most complex, critical and urgent cases.

🌏 Beecroft veterinary research presented on the international stage!

We are immensely proud of Dr Ce Xi Foo, Singapore’s first Small Animal Surgical Resident, who presented original orthopaedic research at ANZCVS Vet Science Week 2026, one of Australasia’s leading veterinary scientific meetings.

🔬 Ce Xi was the presenting and primary author of:

“Isometric Points for Patellofemoral Ligament Reconstruction from 3D Kinematics”

The study used advanced three-dimensional kinematic analysis to investigate the femoral and patellar attachment points that produce the least ligament-length change during joint movement.
This work may help refine patellofemoral ligament reconstruction by improving surgical accuracy and the biomechanical behaviour of the reconstruction.

Dr Foo represented Beecroft and Singaporean veterinary medicine with distinction before an international audience of veterinary specialists, researchers and clinicians.
