Our Nursesโ€™ Day celebrations on 31 July brought nurses from across IHH SG together for a day of appreciation and celebration.

As we embraced this year's theme, "Thrive. Transform. Triumph.", we celebrated not only how far our nurses have come, but also the impact they continue to make daily through their care, dedication and resilience.

The occasion was particularly memorable, following our recent ANCC accreditation, a reflection of the positive nursing culture and commitment to excellence across our network.

We are marking an important step forward in making breast cancer screening more accessible to women across Singapore.

Parkway Radiology is proud to partner with Manulife Singapore and Breast Cancer Foundation in a three-year collaboration that expands access to breast health education and mammogram screening through the MammoXpress mobile mammography bus. This initiative will bring screening services closer to communities and workplaces, while reaching younger women who may not traditionally qualify for subsidised screening programmes.

Breast cancer remains the most common cancer among women aged 30 to 39 in Singapore, yet many younger women may not consider themselves at risk. Early detection can make a significant difference, and improving access is a meaningful way to encourage more women to take that first step in understanding and managing their breast health.

At Parkway Radiology, we believe that quality diagnostic care should be accessible and convenient. Through this partnership, we hope to make screening more available to those who may otherwise face barriers to access, while supporting greater awareness of the importance of preventive health.

"Preventive health assessments and regular screening help detect disease at its earliest and most treatable stages. These play a vital role in enhancing what we call 'Healthspan', but access and awareness remain barriers for many women," said Tan Yujuan, Chief Executive Officer, Parkway Radiology. "By bringing our clinical expertise, tele-consultations and mobile screening closer to the community, we hope to help more women, especially younger women, understand their personal risk and make more informed decisions, so that they can enjoy not just longer, but also healthier, more meaningful lives.โ€

Our journey to better care hit a new milestone with a new partner on board.

We are pleased to mark the empanelment of Mount Elizabeth Royal Square into Prudential Singapore's PRUPanel Connect network, making it the first facility under IHH SG to join the panel. This partnership expands access to specialist day surgery and endoscopy services, giving eligible patients another option for quality care delivered with convenience and assurance.

The signing ceremony by Chan San San and Peter Chow reflects a shared commitment between IHH SG and Prudential to improve healthcare accessibility and support patients throughout their care journey.
