From the villages of Haiti to the offices of Singapore, our spines are facing a modern epidemic. 🌍📱
Early in my journey—adjusting hundreds of patients a day during mission work in the Dominican Republic and Haiti—I got to see firsthand how stress maps itself onto the human body. And whether I’m looking at a spine across the world or right here in Singapore, the common denominator is clear.
The biggest stressor of our generation? Technological and lifestyle changes. 🛑
Our ancestors didn’t experience the same physical degeneration we see today. We’ve become a sedentary society, constantly hunched over laptops, peering down at smartphones, and sacrificing our alignment.
This mechanical stress secretly accumulates in your body every single day, locking up your spine, straining your nervous system, and altering your posture in the long run.
Your body wasn’t designed to be glued to a screen. It was designed to move. 🏃♂️💨
Take a quick look at your posture right now as you read this. Are your shoulders hunched forward? Let me know honestly in the comments! 👇
