Happy International Women’s Day series 3/3
Featuring our young female OMFS registrar and residents.
Let’s get to know them more.
Lastly we have our very own OMFS Twins, Dr Grace and Dr Mary Raj. Dr Grace is currently practicing in NDCs as a registrar and Dr Mary is a HKU OMFS resident. See if you can catch them together at ACOMS 2026

Grace: Being a twin has its perks. Very thankful to have someone who has literally journeyed alongside me since conception. 🐣

We also asked her a few questions:
1.Most memorable moment so far in your career in OMFS
Grace: The camaraderie within the team is always really special! 🥰 Always enjoy a late night supper after a long op or a Mac’s brekkie after an overnight EOT🍟

2. What is one thing people may not know about your outside of surgery?
Grace: I’ve recently been reviving my succulent collection — unfortunately most didn’t survive the long hours of residency🫣

- Every experience has been memorable in its own way, so it’s difficult to pick just one. Some of the more unforgettable moments have been the time spent in the OT working alongside supportive seniors and peers who are always happy to teach and guide us along the way.
