Did you know? 👀🐾

Some dogs have a condition called Medial Shoulder Instability (MSI), where the soft tissues supporting the shoulder joint become stretched or weakened, causing the joint to become unstable over time. This can cause the elbows and paws to rotate outward, affecting comfort, balance and movement.

Signs to watch for:
• Front legs that “splay” outward
• Waddling or swaying gait
• Difficulty with exercise or stairs
• Stiffness after rest

Congratulations to Dr Nicholas Haw on attaining Membership of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists (MANZCVS) in Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation (Canine) - an an advanced postgraduate clinical qualification recognising expertise in rehabilitation and management of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions in dogs.

Congratulations also to Dr Michelle Ooi on achieving her CSAVA certification in small animal veterinary acupuncture, further strengthening her expertise in supporting pain management, mobility and overall wellbeing.
