🇸🇬 Every step towards inclusion starts with understanding.

This year, we are so proud to see Singapore's first-ever National Day Parade contingent of persons with disabilities—a meaningful milestone that reflects our nation's continued journey towards greater inclusion.

Earlier this year, Autism Partnership had the privilege of contributing in a small way by conducting an autism awareness session for the NDP facilitation team. We shared insights about individuals with autism and ways to better understand and support them, helping facilitators feel more prepared to create a positive and inclusive experience for everyone.

A heartfelt thank you to , the People's Association, the NDP Community, and every facilitator whose dedication, compassion, and commitment have helped make this milestone possible. Your willingness to learn and create an environment where everyone feels welcomed is what truly brings inclusion to life!

We are honoured to have played a small part in this journey and are excited to see Singapore continue taking meaningful steps towards a more inclusive future.

✨ Olivia's Jumpstart Journey · Final ✨

In the final part of this series, we share a bonus story of how life took a turn when Olivia's family moved to New York in early 2024.

This stage of her journey provided the intensity and consistency needed to expand on the skills that were first established in her jumpstart program back in Singapore. Through APNY, Olivia was able to continue progressing within a connected model of care over a span of 18-months.

𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝘂𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗜𝗰𝗲: 𝗜𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴!

Painting with ice is a sensory process-art activity where frozen pigmented ice cubes are used instead of paintbrushes.

As the ice melts, the colours are transferred onto the paper with ease, creating an artistic water style masterpiece as you go along! This activity is also a great way to cool down with our children on days when it gets really hot.

💡One tip: You may freeze the coloured cubes of ice with ice cream sticks to make them easier to hold while painting!
