“Will my child need to be put to sleep?”

It’s one of the biggest worries parents have before a procedure.

But general anaesthesia is not the only option. Depending on the wound, lesion, procedure, and your child, we may consider local anaesthesia, sedation, or general anaesthesia.

The decision comes after we assess your child, not before.

Our goal is always the same: safe treatment, a comfortable experience, and as little fear as possible.

Every parent has felt a bump on their child's head and thought, is this normal or should I get it checked?

Three of the most common ones here.

Almost all of them are harmless. The bit worth remembering is what makes a lump worth a second look: it bleeds when nothing knocked it, it starts itching, it grows quickly, it was flat and is now raised, or the edges turn ragged.

If any of that sounds like your child, don't sit on it.

A droopy eyelid in an adult is not always cosmetic. When the lid starts covering the pupil, it blocks the path light needs to reach the back of the eye. That can narrow your field of vision and affect how you function day to day, often more gradually than you notice.

Two things worth checking: where the lid sits relative to the pupil in a flash photo (the clinical measurement is called MRD1, margin reflex distance), and whether you tilt your chin up or raise your brows constantly to see clearly.

Ptosis tends to worsen slowly. That is why it is easy to dismiss for a long time. If something in this video looked familiar, that is worth taking seriously.

If you have seen someone close to you doing this, share this with them. Questions welcome below or in DM. Consultations by appointment: link in bio.

Fillers and biostimulators are not the same treatment.

They work on different structures, at different depths, over different timeframes.

Understanding the difference is the first step to understanding your options.

A consultation should be a conversation, not a transaction.

Three signs the one you just had was actually a sales pitch, and what a real surgical consultation looks like instead.

Save this before your next appointment.

The name Argent comes from the French word for silver.

It comes from 15 years of surgical missions in Myanmar, Cambodia, Indonesia, and Vietnam, operating on children born with cleft lips and palates.

If you are a parent who just received this diagnosis, this video is for you.

A question I hear often: can a thread lift hold the skin in place?

The honest clinical answer depends on one thing the marketing rarely mentions: the weight of the skin itself.

Threads reposition tissue. They do not remove it. For the right patient, that distinction is everything.

Not all eye bags are the same, and that matters more than most people realise.

Fat, skin laxity, and volume loss each look different under the eye, each has a different cause, and each responds to a completely different treatment.

The selfie test in this video is a simple starting point. It will not give you a diagnosis, but it will help you ask better questions.

If you are unsure which type you have, a consultation is the clearest next step.
