An impulsive purchase of a “tea party” air-dry clay set served as a wonderful reminder of the flow and joy—and the slight frustration of dusting off rusty fine motor skills—that comes with dedicated creative time. Inspired by this experience and equipped with all the necessary materials, we decided to host an evening for us to gather and build our own miniature crafts or alternative worlds together.

We often use the “Mossery Impromptu: Prompt Cards for Drawings” deck during our gatherings with our guests. These gatherings are consistently filled with laughter and act as a spark for rediscovering hidden creativity, as everyone develops their own distinct stories guided by the prompts. It is fascinating to see the diversity in interpretation and personal association, which produces a stunning collection of varied visual narratives from a single starting point. To share these interactive prompts with a wider audience, we have decided to host a Drawing Night open to the public.

Please note: Current clients are kindly excluded from this event to protect the integrity of the therapeutic relationship, ensuring professional boundaries are maintained while allowing the therapist (that’s me!) to fully engage in creative fun.

We’ve had so much fun working with shrink plastic that we’ve even daydreamed about opening our own craft shop to share everything we’ve made. To keep that creative energy going, we’re hosting a gathering for adults to step away from their busy schedules and join us in the joy of co-creating. Let’s get together and make even more lovely shrink plastic items!

I am very thrilled to play this kibble chase game every night. Also pardon my Egyptian crown (mango fruit wrap) as my new outfit.

As a beginner in watercolour, you may feel that a successful painting must perfectly replicate its subject. Yet watercolour is a wonderfully unpredictable medium, and trying to control every detail can often lead to frustration. Instead, this workshop invites you to slow down, let go of perfection and embrace the unpredictable nature of watercolour through play and experimentation.
Designed as a relaxed and exploratory session, the workshop offers a space to try non-traditional approaches to watercolour without the pressure of “getting it right.”
Through a series of guided experiments using found materials such as salt, cling wrap, tea, straws, and toothbrushes, you’ll create layered washes, organic textures, and unexpected patterns that form the foundation of abstract compositions.
In this workshop, there are no mistakes — only discoveries. Allow yourself the freedom to explore, respond, and create intuitively as you uncover new ways of seeing and painting with watercolour.

In another post, we shared about how collage making perfectly captures that body-to-paper connection. 📖✨

In a digital world, choosing the scissors/paper over the screen is a radical act of self-care. Collage is our favorite way to ground ourselves—it’s rhythmic, engaging, and carries so much less “performance pressure” than a blank canvas.

You’re invited: We are hosting another Adult Art Club this May! Come co-create your own therapeutic cards with us in a safe, intentional space, together with the meows. [cats rights and preference are respected at all times]

💌 DM us to reserve your slot ($38 per pax). We’d love to see you there.
