Making a SPLASH at Aqua Adventure! 🌊💦

While the PSLE papers were being marked, Sparkies were busy making waves of their own! 🏄‍♂️

From splashing around to diving into water-filled fun, Sparkies soaked up every moment of this exciting day out! 💧😆 There were plenty of laughs, unforgettable memories, and waves of fun all around!

Three days of PSLE marking? We made sure to keep Sparkies’ spirits afloat! 🛟✨ Here’s to making a splash, riding the waves, and creating ripples of happy memories together! 💙

Handcrafting dried flower pencil holders to raise funds for persons with cerebral palsy 🌸

Our Sparkies learnt about cerebral palsy, then put their hearts into crafting. Each Sparkie wrapped the twine and arranged the dried flowers themselves.

All funds raised go to CPAS to help empower persons with cerebral palsy in their daily lives. 💛

Mind Sparks 🤝 Cerebral Palsy Alliance Singapore (CPAS)

These past two weeks, our Sparkies have been learning about cerebral palsy: how it can affect movement, balance and speech, and how every person with cerebral palsy is different.

Through hands-on challenges, they tried buttoning a shirt with a taped thumb, writing their names while a partner jiggled the paper, walking a tape line with a towel between their knees, and "talking" using only a picture board.

They're also hand-crafting flower pencil holders, where the proceeds will support persons with cerebral palsy!

More than 1,700 messages came in, each sharing a little something about the teachers who’ve made a difference to them. We read every single one, and picking just one winner was really not easy!
