Give it up for our incredible 10-man Sing-Rox team and badminton duo, who proudly represented NNI at the SingHealth President’s Challenge (SHPC) 2026! 🔥

Coming together from different departments, our NNI representatives gamely took on badminton and Sing-Rox, a gruelling team-based endurance circuit and the highlight event of this year’s SHPC. The event brings the various SingHealth institutions together, raising funds for St. Andrew’s Autism Centre, Filos Community Services, Centre For Seniors, as well as Abilities Beyond Limitations and Expectations (ABLE) under the President’s Challenge.

We’re especially proud of our Sing-Rox team, who came away with a Medal of Commendation! 🏅

To our colleagues, the leaders who ran alongside us, and the family members who came to cheer them on - thank you for your support and encouragement.

Go Team NNI! 🙌💪

Ready oar not, here we come! 🐉💥

This year’s IHH Healthcare X Singapore Dragon Boat Regatta champions dementia awareness and healthy ageing, with healthcare partners from all over Singapore competing against each other in friendly yet competitive dragon boat races.

Guest-of-Honour, Mr Ong Ye Kung, Minister for Health, also got in on the action, paddling hard with his Ministry of Health, Singapore team! He also presented tokens of appreciation to all healthcare partners, including Assoc Prof Au Wing Lok, CEO of NNI, who received it on behalf of SingHealth.

Congratulations to the SingHealth team made up of staff from 7 institutions and SHHQ, who made us proud by coming in third in the Minister’s Cup race! 🎉 There are more races happening tomorrow, so drop by NNI’s and NNI Fund’s booths at Bayfront Event Space @ Marina Bay! 💙

Ever wondered what happens to a human brain when it is donated for research? NNI is part of six partner organisations behind Singapore's very first local brain bank, where post-mortem brains are preserved and studied to unlock answers that living tissue alone cannot provide. 🧠

But why do we even need a brain bank in the first place, and how do these donated brains help us understand neuroscience better? Read more here: https://www.singaporehealth.com.sg/singapores-very-first-brain-bank
