Our Responders Plus Programme, conducted in partnership with the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), has successfully concluded!

A heartfelt thank you to all our staff who participated with enthusiasm and commitment throughout the five half-day training programme. Your dedication to learning essential emergency response skills reflects our shared commitment to creating a safer and more prepared community.

We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to the SCDF trainers for sharing their expertise, as well as everyone who contributed behind the scenes to make the programme a success.

🚑 Responders Plus Programme | 29 June 2026

On 29 June 2026, our staff participated in the Responders Plus Programme, conducted by trainers from the Singapore Civil Defence Force.

The session equipped participants with essential emergency response knowledge and practical skills, helping them build the confidence to respond effectively during medical emergencies before professional help arrives.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the trainers from the Singapore Civil Defence Force for sharing their expertise and guiding our team through this valuable training.

Our team is currently attending the 9th Asia Pacific Nurses Convention (ASPAN) 2026 at the Singapore EXPO Convention Hall. Held from 25 to 27 June 2026, this three-day convention brings together nursing professionals from across the Asia-Pacific region to explore nursing leadership, healthcare innovation, and the future of healthcare.

🍚 Lotus Light Rice Donation Day 2026 🍚

On 20 June 2026, SWAMI Home was honoured to receive a generous donation of 2,500kg of rice through the Lotus Light Rice Donation Day 2026 initiative.

The donation was presented by Mr Hans Goh, Executive Director, on behalf of Lotus Light Charity Society. This generous contribution will go a long way in supporting our daily operations and helping us provide nutritious meals for our residents.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Lotus Light Charity Society for their generosity and continued support towards the well-being of our residents.

🌿 Sharing Session on Skin Care for Residents 🌿

On 18 June 2026, we were privileged to have Sister Brenda Lim, Head Nursing from National Skin Centre, conduct an insightful sharing session on skin care for our residents.

The session provided valuable knowledge on maintaining healthy skin, preventing common skin issues, and enhancing the overall well-being of our residents. We appreciate Sister Brenda's expertise, dedication, and engaging presentation, which helped our team better understand the importance of proper skin care.

🔥 Building Confidence, Strengthening Preparedness 🔥

Our newly appointed CERT members recently completed their Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) Training, conducted by Mr. Faizal.

The session provided participants with valuable knowledge and hands-on experience in the proper use of SCBA equipment during fire emergencies, equipping them with essential skills to respond safely and effectively when needed.

Congratulations to all participants on receiving their certificates of completion! 👏 We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Mr. Faizal for his dedication, expertise, and engaging training session.

Together, we continue to strengthen our emergency preparedness and commitment to creating a safe environment for all.
