A simple act of kindness can go a long way.

Doctors, nurses and colleagues across Thomson Medical came together to fold more than 3,000 paper cranes as part of SōngHè’s Kindness Campaign. For every crane folded, .rice contributed a bowl of rice - turning our collective effort into more than 3,000 bowls of rice for lower-income residents living in rental flats in Jalan Besar.

We were honoured to have Ms Denise Phua Lay Peng, Mayor of Central Singapore District, join us in recognising this meaningful community effort. As Mayor Denise shared, strong communities are built when people and organisations step forward to do good together.

For us, Empowering Life Journeys extends beyond the care we provide within our hospitals and clinics. It is also about coming together as a community and finding meaningful ways to care for those around us.

Thank you to our colleagues who took the time to fold a crane, and to SōngHè for turning each small act into practical support for families in need.

Because when we each do a little, it can become something much bigger. 🩷
