Can hospital food be both comforting and nutritious? ๐ฝ๏ธ
At Parkway East Hospital, we believe it can be.
Led by Executive Chef Roslan, our culinary team has refreshed our in-patient menu, drawing inspiration from the hospital's 84-year heritage in the Katong-Joo Chiat community.
Working closely with our dietitians, they've thoughtfully adapted traditional Peranakan flavours into dishes that are both comforting and nutritious to support our patients' recovery.
For Executive Chef Roslan, this menu is also deeply personal.
"Growing up near Koon Seng Road, Peranakan culture has always been close to my heart. I wanted to share the rich heritage of Peranakan cuisine with our patients during their stay."
This initiative reflects our belief that thoughtful touches, whether through compassionate care, a welcoming environment or a comforting meal, can help make every hospital stay feel a little more like home.
