The spine doesn’t work in isolation—it is constantly communicating with the brain. 🧠
It was an incredible opportunity to learn from renowned neurophysiologist Dr Heidi Haavik at “Rewiring the Brain: The Neurophysiology of Chiropractic Care.”
The seminar explored how chiropractic adjustments may do more than improve joint movement. By changing the sensory information being sent from the spine to the brain, adjustments may help retrain how the brain processes movement, muscle control and pain.
For patients, this deeper understanding allows me to provide more precise and personalised care—helping the nervous system adapt, improving the way the body moves and potentially reducing pain and sensitivity over time.
Excited to bring these neuroscience-based insights back to Agape Chiropractic and apply them to better patient care.
