atients across the continuum of Home Care, Inpatient and Day Care. This allows patients and family members to journey with a clinical team they are familiar with, and to receive care in the way that they need. Our six-storey purpose-built hospice provides a homely ambience with cosy spaces for patients and their loved ones. With 85 Inpatient beds, including specialised wards for Dementia Palliative Care and Paediatric Palliative Care, a Day Care Centre and the outreach of our Home Care team, we serve 2500 patients a year. Founded in 1969 by the Sisters of the Franciscan Missionaries of the Divine Motherhood (FMDM), we are a charity supported by donors, volunteers and corporate organisations who journey with us in our cause.

What a beautiful day it was at Assisi Fun Day on 14 June! Blessed with wonderful weather, our charity carnival was filled with laughter, joy, and the warmth of a community coming together for a meaningful cause.

A big thank you to our incredible sponsors, dedicated volunteers, generous community groups, and everyone who joined us. Whether you gave your time, talents, resources, or support, you helped make the day truly special.

Co-organised with our long-time partner City Developments Limited (CDL), every dollar raised will help Assisi Hospice to provide compassionate care and support to patients and families navigating some of life’s most challenging moments. One of the highlights of the day was the CDL Challenge – GRIT for Good, led by CDL Group Chief Executive Officer, Mr Sherman Kwek. In a spirited display of teamwork and determination, two teams of CDL employees took on the Battle Rope, Shuttle Run and Wall Ball challenges, cheered on by supporters and business partners whose generous pledges helped raise $200,000 for Assisi Hospice.

We were also honoured to have Mrs Josephine Teo, Minister for Digital Development and Information, and Minister-in-charge of Cybersecurity & Smart Nation Group, and Ms Ho Ching, Patron of Assisi Hospice, grace the event with their presence. ❤️

We are excited to welcome you to Assisi Fun Day, happening this Sunday (14 Jun) from 10am-4pm! Please refer to the map for details on how to get to St Joseph’s Institution International School (SJII). You can catch a train to the nearest MRT station Caldecott, and come out via Exit 4, or catch our free shuttle bus from Bishan MRT station.

Admission is free and coupons for purchases and activities are available on site. All proceeds will go towards providing care for patients with serious illnesses and their families. We regret to inform that pets are not allowed at the event.

Calling all therapists who are interested in palliative care! The inaugural “LCPC-Assisi Palliative Care Course for Therapists” is open for registration. This 2-day course is specially designed for allied health therapists caring for patients with serious illnesses across all settings. It aims to equip participants with basic palliative care knowledge and skills to provide person-centred care to patients with serious illnesses and their families.
