Yoga Samudra Be like water. Calm when still, powerful in movement. A holistic Yoga experience that is fluid; restores, strengthens and transforms you. Embody the flow.

I wish to share the joy of Yoga with all of you as it has brought me many positive changes. I teach mainly Hatha, Vinyasa Flow, Core Flow and Yin / Stretch classes. My philosophy of Yoga is that it aims to heal not only the body, but also mind and spirit. Yoga that heals us will also transform and empower us. I have been deeply inspired by Dr.Venky Reddy of ShivShakti Yoga since I started practici

ng under him mainly in Hatha, Yin Yoga and Vinyasa Flow and teaching all levels of people, helping them achieve healthy balance in life as an instructor. Yoga teaches us to be present in every moment and constantly reminds us to check in with our physical, mental and emotional states. I believe every day is a practice, on and off the mat. A practice for us to be human, to be our best. Yoga has transformed my life and I am honoured and blessed to share my passion with you. I truly hope on this holistic journey together, I can play a small part to help you transform yours.

// Such beautiful words of wisdom from Teacher San of today.
โ€œLife is unfair. Accept it, donโ€™t fight it. What matters the most is; at the end of our time on Earth, we can say that we have done our very best to make our life fair.โ€

Mindfulness 101:

The more we look inwards, the less we are bothered by outer chaos. This enables us to focus better on our own growth and be more aware of our dynamic self that is constantly changing. Our capacity for learning, giving and loving is unlimited. So how do we start looking inwards? It is simply by reflecting and asking questions. These are my favourites ones:

1) What made me smile today?
2) What or who am I grateful for today?
3) Was I brave today?
4) What was one thing I had learnt today?
5) What can I do better than yesterday?
6) If I could change one thing about today, what would it be?
7) Was I kind / mean to someone today?
8 ) What am I looking forward to tomorrow?
9) What do I want to learn more?
10) What did I see or hear today that made me really think?
*My Yoga students would know most of these questions as I do this reflection at the end of our yoga classes. Hopefully, these questions which are not exhaustive; can help to open the doors to your mind and heart. Once opened, you can look forward to a beautiful journey of growth and fulfilling your greatest potential. When in doubt, start asking some of these questions as the answers are all within us.

The one who looks outside, dreams.
The one who looks inside, awakens. โœจ

Plant deep roots within us every single day with reflection and meditation. This simple ritual allows us to feel connected to the peace and stillness inside us. This way, no matter what happens out there; people disappointing, betraying or leaving us, major accidents and minor mishaps, nature changing our external environment, we will still feel grounded and strong. When we anchor our consciousness in the deeper body and mind rather than the external, we can tap into a true sense of power that comes from the Source. Independent from influences of the people and environment surrounding us. The higher the energy we generate from inside us, the lesser chances negativity will affect us any longer. We will move through Life with steadiness and ease. This is the Flow we are looking for in our lives. Know that no matter what happens; good and bad, we will be OK. We will always be OK.
