Sharing more photos from our Annual Scientific Meeting on 25-26 Jul 2026 at Pan Pacific Singapore which was well attended by doctors, nurses, allied health, trainees, students and patient partners.

Local and international experts shared their insights in scientific sessions and debates, while abstract poster presenters and moderators engaged in interactive discussions. We also presented our STS Young Investigator Awards for 2026 to deserving winners. Our STS-TARIPH session on Patient Voices to Solutions provided an important perspective to developing the future of lung health.

Congratulations to the following winners for STS Young Investigators Award 2026 -

1st place - Clinical outcomes of caregiver-led indwelling pleural catheter care and drainage at a Singapore tertiary referral hospital - Dr Brian Chua

2nd place - Emergency department-to-outpatient conservative management of primary spontaneous pneumothorax - a single centre experience - Dr Christopher Thong

3rd place - Impact of anti-microbial exposure on bronchoscopy yields in immunocompromised patients: a single-centre experience - Dr Albert Teng

Excellent research work by all submitters.

The 2 day STS Annual Scientific Meeting 2026 ended today, after an enriching scientific program with renowned international and local speakers, including plenaries by Profs Ian Pavord, Alyn Morice, David Lam, Dan Chambers, Liew Mei Fong.

We experienced an engaging pro-con Asthma debate from specialists from different institutions, and a comprehensive presentation by Asst Prof Melvin Tay on Benign Central Airway Obstruction from SingHealth Duke-NUS Lung Centre among many excellent talks. An engaging session on Patient Voices by TARIPH was also one of the highlights this year.

Thankful to all our Speakers, Panelists, Abstract Presenters, Chairpersons, Attendees, Faculty and Sponsors for making this a huge success.
