On 24 June 2026, a strategic alliance was formalised between AARO and MMCH โ€” marking half a century of compassionate cancer care and opening a new era for the region.

As MMCHโ€™s Mission Partner, AARO will manage and operate the Hospitalโ€™s oncology services, bringing our Radiosurgery and Oncology management expertise from Singapore to Penang through the newly launched ๐— ๐—ผ๐˜‚๐—ป๐˜ ๐— ๐—ถ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ฎ๐—บ ๐—–๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜๐—ฟ๐—ฒ ๐—ณ๐—ผ๐—ฟ ๐—ฆ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ผ๐˜๐—ฎ๐—ฐ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ฐ ๐—ฅ๐—ฎ๐—ฑ๐—ถ๐—ผ๐˜€๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ด๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜† (๐— ๐— ๐—–๐—ฆ๐—ฅ).

We are honoured to walk alongside an institution whose 50-year legacy of compassionate, accessible cancer care aligns with our own mission of creating access to quality and personalised cancer care.

It was a great privilege to be part of the world's leading Congress for radiosurgery practitioners, held at the International Convention Centre, Sydney, Australia โ€” where radiation oncologists, neurosurgeons, and medical physicists gathered to share the very latest in precision radiation across oncology, neurosurgery, pain management, and even cardiac arrhythmias.

Our own Dr Daniel Tan, a member of the Board of Directors of the ISRS, was an invited faculty on the Spine Panel. He presented on the fascinating journey of spine radiosurgery โ€” from its origins as a highly precise radiation technique to becoming an essential tool in the neurosurgical and orthopaedic spine surgery field.
