Half the year’s already gone by.

How have you really been feeling lately?

Not the “I’m okay” answer you give everyone else, but genuinely.

Maybe you’ve been feeling tired, overwhelmed, unmotivated, or just mentally drained from trying to keep up with everything. And honestly? That’s more common than you think.

Take a moment to check in with yourself this week.

Rest when you need to. Reach out when things feel too heavy.

You don’t have to figure everything out alone 💚

The Community Intervention Team (COMIT) had the opportunity to conduct a Mental Health & Mental Well-Being Awareness Talk for the staff of Madrasah Wak Tanjong Al-Islamiah (.official) recently.

Our Clinical Supervisor, Ms Ballkees Maricar, and Counsellor, Mr Noor Hakeem, shared insights on the importance of mental wellness, emotional well-being, recognising burnout, and seeking support early, especially for helping professionals and educators.

Participants reflected on the emotional challenges of supporting others and gained a better understanding of stress and mental health as a spectrum.

The session fostered greater appreciation of the importance of mental well-being and highlighted how early recognition, support and intervention can contribute to healthier individuals and more resilient communities. 😊🤝💚

“Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear.” — Leo Buscaglia

'Care Looks Like This' explores the small but meaningful ways we show empathy in daily life - through listening, checking in, and simply being there for one another. These moments remind us that care does not always need grand gestures to make a difference.

Care doesn’t always have to be big or loud. Sometimes, it looks like being present, listening without fixing, or simply reaching out.

A small act of kindness can go a long way. ☺️💛

The Caregiver Support Network Community Outreach Team (CREST-CSN) recently held the 8th session of Magnificent Heroes at our Eunos Centre.

During the session, participants heard heartfelt sharing from caregiver Ms Nurni, who spoke about her journey of navigating grief, loss, and caregiving responsibilities, as well as the support she received through CREST-CSN programmes and activities.

Participants also heard from Mr Zainal Lee, Senior Manager of Club HEAL’s CREST-CSN, who shared his experience of recovering from a stroke while managing his caregiving role, highlighting the importance of self-care and resilience.

Their stories serve as a powerful reminder of the challenges faced by caregivers and the strength they demonstrate each day. Through initiatives like Magnificent Heroes, CREST-CSN continues to provide a safe and supportive space for caregivers to connect, share experiences, and find encouragement from one another. 😊💚

Life’s been feeling a bit nonstop lately?

Between school, responsibilities, and trying to keep up with everything, it’s easy to forget to check in with yourself.

Maybe this week, give yourself permission to slow down a little. Hang out with people who make you feel safe, do something that helps you recharge, or simply take a proper break 🌤️

And if things have been feeling like “a lot” lately, you don’t have to sit with it alone. A small conversation can go a long way 💬

Drop us a message whenever you’re ready 💚

Berita Harian’s NoTapis podcast featured Club HEAL in one of its episodes, where discussions centred on bullying and the importance of addressing the emotional needs of perpetrators.

Touching on issues close to the heart of the Malay-Muslim community in Singapore, this episode featured Mr Abdul Hakim Adzhari, Senior Counsellor from the Youth Integrated Team at Club HEAL. He shared insights on the importance of balancing accountability with rehabilitation, highlighting the need to support not only victims of bullying but also to address the underlying emotional struggles that may contribute to bullying behaviour.

Together with parent, Mr Muhammad Aizuddin Maulud, the conversation explored the impact of bullying on young people and families, as well as the role that schools, parents, and the wider community can play in creating safer and more supportive environments for children.

As shared by Mr Hakim, “Punishment is important as it ensures accountability. However, we must also consider emotional healing - not only for the victim, but for the perpetrator as well.”

We are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with TOUCH Caregivers Support Group (), following the opening of their new centre at TOUCHpoint @ Tampines 285.

As part of this engagement, Club HEAL was invited to explore psychoeducation initiatives such as talks and workshops to better support caregivers in Tampines and surrounding areas.

Senior Manager from the Caregiver Support Network Community Outreach Team (CREST-CSN), Mr Zainal Lee, delivered a talk on “Managing Caregiver Stress” to caregivers from both Club HEAL and TCS at Tampines 285. The session was well received, with caregivers actively engaging and sharing the challenges they face in their caregiving journeys.

We would like to thank TCS for the warm invitation and look forward to strengthening this partnership to better support caregivers in our community. 😊🤝🧠

"Whatever storm you're walking through, I'll hold the umbrella with you." — Unknown

Not everything has to be faced alone. Even the heaviest moments can feel a little lighter when someone stands beside you. 🤗

Be that person for someone, or allow someone to be there for you. We will get through the tough days together. ☔🤍
