Managed to find time between patients to attend the 16th Singapore Sleep Allergy and Rhinology Conference
over the last few days.

Glad to recap the complex skull base anatomy by Prof Sethi before rushing back to clinics. Back at lunch and in the evenings to be educated again.

Managed to catch up with many friends, fellow esteem rhinologists in their country. Attended Prof Amber Luong sharing on biologics for management of nasal polyps.

It’s a busy but educational week. But satisfying!

Seeing blood flowing out from the nose is scary and worrisome. Most nose bleeding are benign but occasionally it may be a sign of something more sinister.

What do you do if you have a nose bleeding? Pinch the nose between the eyes? No! Head up and tilt backwards? No! Watch the video to know the proper first aid.

Happy Labour Day! 五一劳动节！ A day to celebrate and appreciate all the workers. For us, it’s the nurses, our allied health workers, porters, canteen auntie and even the janitors. They have worked hard to keep the healthcare system going, day in day out, without any complaints, just focus on doing their job well. Similar for all other industries, all work hard to keep the system going. Let’s give our sincere appreciation to the workers of the country. Happy !
