This week we’re talking about one of the simplest exercises you can do anywhere — the bodyweight squat 🦵🔥

A recent study found that performing just 10 bodyweight squats every 45 minutes throughout an 8-hour workday may provide similar activity benefits to walking 10,000 steps 🚶‍♀️➡️🏋️‍♂️

Whether you’re working at a desk, studying, or spending long hours sitting, adding a few squats throughout the day can be an easy way to keep your body moving 🙌✨

🔥 Try this:
1️⃣ Stand with your feet about shoulder-width apart
2️⃣ Keep your chest tall and core engaged
3️⃣ Push your hips back as you lower down
4️⃣ Keep your knees tracking over your toes
5️⃣ Drive through your feet to stand back up

⏱ Aim for 10 squats every 45 minutes

1️⃣ Start standing with your feet shoulder-width apart
2️⃣ Hinge at your hips and reach towards the floor
3️⃣ Drop into a deep squat position
4️⃣ Return to standing and repeat with control

If getting into a full deep squat feels challenging, hold onto a sturdy piece of furniture or a countertop for support while you work through the movement 🤝
