Get Ready With Me to celebrate the 25th anniversary reunion of the Class of 2001 University College London Medical School and coincidentally the 200th anniversary of the founding of UCL. (AND, low key it was also my birthday week and Father’s Day the previous Sunday. PHWOAR! 🥂😬) Photo with Jeremy Bentham? Done! Affectionately known also as JB, he was one of the founding fathers of UCL. The founding ethos was that higher education should be available to both men and women equally and independent of religious beliefs 💪🏻There was a tour led by current medical students who were bemused that we Gen X alumni 👨‍🦳were reduced to uni kids 👦 again with the banter and reminiscing of the shenanigans we got up to as med students. They were honestly better behaved and serious compared to us 🤣The weather was unseasonably hot and humid and everyone was more than a little sticky. But the conversations flowed as familiar faces from more than 25 years became immediate friends again. Alumni had travelled from all over the world to attend that 1 afternoon in London, but we left promising to look each other up in our individual home countries during our travels. Bring on the 30th Anniversary Reunion! 🥳

Day 3 and the last day of the Level 1 Certificate Course in Aesthetic Medicine by the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine. In the morning I took the doctors through lectures on laser physics 🥱 and the application of other energy based devices. After lunch I had them rotate through different laser and medical aesthetic machines that they were able to use with supervision ✌️ Then of course, the graduation ceremony where I can proudly say they all met the criteria for onward progression to Level 2 🥳
