The sun rises every day without asking for permission to shine.

A gentle reminder that healing isn’t about becoming someone new—it’s about returning to who you’ve always been beneath the stress, fear, and expectations.

Every sunrise. Every sunset. 🌅
Every fleeting moment with my only constant.

Looking back, it’s amazing how a dog changed my life.

When Goma was in quarantine for 10 long days after arriving in Australia, all I wanted was a way to connect with her. That search led me to animal communication, then to energy healing, and what started as wanting to understand my dog became a journey of understanding myself.

She taught me to love myself more, stop seeking approval from people who never valued me, protect my peace, and understand what unconditional love truly is.

Because of her, I became a Bodytalk practitioner, healer and a better version of myself and a dog pawrent.

Here’s to every sunrise, every sunset and all the moments waiting for us.

Love you my baby ❤️

P/S: Watch one more sunrise, one more sunset, give them that one more cuddle. One day, these moments will become the memories you treasure most.

Our school had Wellness Week this week, with lots of activities focused on looking after students’ mental wellbeing. There were animal-assisted activities, stationary bikes to get everyone moving, LEGO building, gardening, and plenty of opportunities for students to take a breather from the usual routine.

Here’s a cute little plant my student made me! Left home slightly later but was a 20min well spent :)

Today at Bird Paradise, I spent some quiet moments watching and “chatting” with our feathered friends. 🦜

Some were curious.
Some were playful.
Some were cautious.

And some… were very clearly annoyed. 😅
This little friend had just had a GoPro shoved right into its face. Even I could feel the frustration. Safe to say this friend was feeling pretty sulky—but was still gracious enough to let me take a photo. 😊

Before taking this photo, I quietly asked for permission and waited. Whether you call it intuition, energy, or simply respect, I believe our animal friends always let us know when they’re comfortable.

It was a gentle reminder that every living being has boundaries, emotions, and a voice—even if they don’t speak our language.

Healing isn’t only about listening to people.
It’s about learning to listen to all life.
Sometimes the greatest lesson is simply this:
Respect their space, honour their feelings, and let connection happen on their terms.

Busy with work, exhausted, and I started slipping back into unhealthy habits.

A little reminder to myself: no excuses. Looking after yourself is self-love. We work hard so that we can become better versions of ourselves, not burn ourselves out.

So, it’s back to staying on track—moving my body again, eating better, and learning to say no to having more than two activities a day.

Missing my days back in Oz when all I did was sleep and chill 🤣🇦🇺

Some places have a way of reminding us how much we’ve grown.

Today, I passed by my very first workplace—a place that holds memories of love, friendship, bullying, betrayal, and many of the lessons that shaped who I am today. Looking back, I realise that many of my reactions came from unhealed wounds and past traumas that I didn’t yet understand.

I’ve come to realise that every painful experience carries a lesson. Every challenge is an invitation to pause, reflect, heal, and grow. Our pain isn’t here to punish us—it often points us toward the parts of ourselves that are longing for love and transformation.

Today, I no longer look back with resentment. I look back with compassion and gratitude—for those who stayed, for those who left, and for every experience that shaped the person I am becoming.

Healing doesn’t erase the past. It changes the way we carry it.

So if you’re walking through a difficult season, don’t be so quick to ask, “Why is this happening to me?” Instead, ask, “What is this here to teach me?”

Sometimes our greatest pain becomes the doorway to our greatest growth. 🤍✨

Jiayou! You’ve got this! 💪

Today, I am so grateful and excited to share that I am now a Certified BodyTalk Practitioner. 🎉🥳

This milestone would never have been possible without the many people who have trusted me, supported me, and walked alongside me throughout my energy healing journey.

A special shoutout to my loved ones and friends who placed their trust in me and remained open to this unfamiliar healing modality—not just once, but many times. Thank you for your faith, your love, and your willingness to try something different. It is truly my pleasure to be a tool of God in helping make life a little better for those around me.

More importantly, I am so proud of every one of you for being willing to take that first step. Being open to healing means being ready for change, growth, and becoming a better version of yourself.

I also want to thank everyone whose lives have crossed mine, especially those who brought me some of the hardest lessons. There was a time when I thought people who hurt me, took me for granted, or treated my love and generosity carelessly were simply cruel. Over time, I came to realise a difficult truth: I had allowed those behaviours and accepted less than I deserved.

To those who disappointed me, thank you. You unknowingly became some of my greatest teachers. The lessons you brought into my life helped shape the person I am today and gave me experiences that now allow me to better understand and help my clients in ways I never imagined possible. I genuinely wish that one day you, too, find clarity, healing, and become the best version of yourself.

I am also deeply thankful to my instructor, Marcio, for his patience, generosity, guidance, and unwavering support. Thank you for waiting for me to be ready and for believing in me throughout this journey.

Goma - You deserve a separate post. I can write an Encylopedia on it. 😂😍

And lastly, thank You, God, for placing GOMA, the right people, the right lessons, the right teachers, and the right opportunities into my life at exactly the right time. Every experience has led me to where I am today, and for that, I am forever grateful.

To God be the Glory, great things He hath done 🙏

Big exams tomorrow, and sometimes the best study companion is someone who quietly keeps you focused. 🤍📚

Meet the grand master, who has parked herself in the study room since the start of the day and hasn’t left the room —except for meals. The funniest part? She stays in the room even when I don’t , as if reminding me, “Your break is over—it’s time to get back to studying.” 🐾😂

Meet my bestest study buddy, friend and master. 🥹❤️

2 encounters with otters in just 3 days, at 2 ends of Singapore. 🦦✨

Both times, they were carefree and completely unbothered by people, yet clearly ready to defend themselves if their territory was invaded.

Curious, I asked them why they had been such little menaces, helping themselves to the koi in school ponds. The answer I got was simple:
“Because we can.”

I found myself lamenting how unfair it seemed. The otters are adored despite their antics, while the poor crows are often vilified, shot, and even have their nesting trees cut down.

Friend commented:
“It’s because I’m cute. Too bad. You too should understand how the world works. Because we look better, we have it easier.”

It was one of those unexpected moments of clarity.

Sad. Painful. But true.

Nature, much like humanity, often reveals our biases. We are more forgiving of what we find beautiful, charming, or relatable. Perhaps the lesson from the otters isn’t just about them—it is an invitation to reflect on how quickly we judge one species over another, and even one another, based on appearances.
Maybe compassion shouldn’t be reserved only for the cute and charismatic.

Grief has a way of expanding the heart in unexpected ways.

Sometimes love no longer looks like holding on. Sometimes it looks like quietly wishing someone well, even when your paths have diverged.

The people who enter our lives shape us. And perhaps the greatest gift we can offer is to hope that those who were once part of our journey find healing, peace, and growth.

Thank you for the call.

You may never know I held space for you, but I hope your lower back feels lighter today.
