Orchard Health Clinic was set up with the aim of providing the highest standard of healthcare service in a warm and friendly manner with the focus firmly on you. To achieve these standards, we started from ground up with one key question in mind - what we can do help you feel better, live better and be better. We found the answer; to create an experience from your perspective by looking beyond the

“whats” and examining the “whys”. Our mission is to tailor a modular and comprehensive treatment plan suited to your needs. Our goal is clear; simplify the healthcare process through education and awareness. We invest in research and innovation by keeping updated on the latest medical research, techniques and technology. A session with us consists of 3 parts– consultation, assessment and treatment. In each part, we take our time to understand your needs, then we balance them with the most effective treatment approach. Providing you with a clear picture of your goals and more importantly, how to achieve them. We’ll be there with you on your road to recovery, every step of the way.

17/30 DO THIS TODAY!

Are you getting out of the car wrong? 🚘

❌ Wrong: Twisting your spine to get out
✅ Right: Turn your whole body first to reduce strain on your lower back and hips

Many people twist and push themselves out of the car without realising how much stress it places on the lower back - especially after long drives or when already dealing with stiffness or pain.

When your feet stay planted while your upper body twists, it places unnecessary rotational strain through your spine and hips. Over time, this repeated movement can contribute to tightness, discomfort, or sudden sharp pain when getting out of the car.

Instead, try turning your whole body first by moving both legs out together before standing up. This allows your body to move in a more controlled and supported way with less twisting through your back.

It’s a small adjustment, but one that can make getting in and out of the car feel much more comfortable.

Try this the next time you drive and notice how your back feels afterwards.

📌 If movements like getting out of the car regularly trigger discomfort, it may be a sign your body needs proper assessment and support.

15/30 DO THIS TODAY!

Are you taking steps that are too big? 🚶🏻

❌ Wrong: Overstriding and landing heavily on your heel
✅ Right: Smaller controlled steps to reduce impact on your knees, hips, and lower back

Many people don’t realise that the way they walk can affect how much stress goes through their body throughout the day.

When your foot lands too far in front of you, the impact travels through your heels, knees, hips, and lower back - especially if you’re walking fast, rushing, or already dealing with pain. Over time, this repeated force can contribute to stiffness, discomfort, and unnecessary strain.

Taking smaller, more controlled steps helps your body stay more balanced and move more efficiently, making walking feel smoother and less stressful on your joints.

You don’t need to completely change the way you walk overnight - even small adjustments in your movement can make a noticeable difference over time.

Try paying attention to your walking pattern today, especially when walking quickly or for longer periods.

📌 If walking regularly causes discomfort in your knees, hips, or back, it may be a sign your body needs proper assessment and support.
