Great job!

Before vision therapy, reading was a daily struggle. Letters would blur and blend together, making it difficult to keep up with schoolwork. Some even thought he was hyperactive, but much of his movement and distraction stemmed from the frustration of feeling like he couldn't get things right.
Today, the difference is remarkable. He is more confident both at school and at home, approaches learning with a positive attitude, and is willing to pick up and try new books. Most importantly, Kaden feels successful and capableβ€”a confidence that shines through in everything he does.

Diagnosed with neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD), a rare and chronic autoimmune condition, Madam Tan shared her diagnosis journey with The Straits Times and how early disease detection through NNI’s Neuroscience Clinical Laboratory and prompt treatment saved her sight.
