We had the privilege of partnering KSP Tunas Mulia Unggul and Oppal ID for the Healthy & Wealthy Talkshow 2026, bringing together medical experts, advocates and community partners for an afternoon of meaningful conversations on health and cancer awareness.

Dr Patricia Kho shared insights on 'The Modern Journey of Breast Cancer Care', while Dr Ho Choon Kiat presented on 'Love Your Liver: How to Prevent and Beat Liver Cancer'.

The audience also heard from Anton Liu, Chairman of KSP Tunas Mulia Unggul who is also our patient at Icon Cancer Centre Singapore. He shared his personal cancer journey and the importance of resilience and support throughout treatment.

Indonesian singer Raisa reflected on her family's experience with cancer, while Ronald McDonald House Charities Indonesia highlighted the importance of supporting patients and families navigating serious illness.

We are thankful for the opportunity to co-organise this event with Anton. We would also like to thank our speakers, partners and attendees for contributing to an afternoon of learning, shared experiences and meaningful discussions.

A positive patient experience can make a meaningful difference, especially during a challenging time.

As we celebrate 10 years of Icon Cancer Centre Singapore, we’re recognising the people who have helped shape the patient experience along the way. For Fiona Tan, being a Patient Service Executive is about more than supporting patients day to day. It’s about communicating with care, providing reassurance and making sure patients feel genuinely supported throughout their journey.

Metastatic breast cancer occurs when breast cancer spreads beyond the breast to other parts of the body. While it remains incurable, advances in treatment and ongoing research continue to expand treatment options, helping many people live longer while maintaining a better quality of life.

Icon Cancer Centre, ASEAN CEO, Serena Wee, joined government and healthcare leaders at CNBC Indonesia’s Health Summit 2026, to explore how investment, innovation and partnership can help deliver more connected, patient-centred care.

The event opened with a keynote address by Indonesia's Minister of Health, Pak Budi Gunadi Sadikin, who shared his perspectives on Indonesia's healthcare transformation and the opportunities ahead to improve access, quality and patient outcomes.

As part of the panel discussion, "Healthcare Policy Breakthroughs: Fast, Precise, and People-Centered," Serena Wee joined a distinguished panel comprising dr. Azhar Jaya, Director General of Advanced Health at Indonesia's Ministry of Health, and dr. Sigit Pramono, Senior Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Abdi Waluyo Hospital.

Drawing on Icon Cancer Centre’s experience across the region, Serena highlighted the importance of developing capability, connecting expertise through technology and creating strong public-private partnerships.

Because healthcare transformation is not only about infrastructure; it is about investing in people, strengthening the entire patient journey and improving outcomes for more patients.

Yesterday in Surabaya, Icon participated in the launch of amivantamab (Rybrevant) and the BREATH seminar—Breakthroughs in Research and Evolution of Advanced Therapies in Lung Cancer Care, bringing specialists together to discuss advances in treatment and their application in clinical practice.

Dr Patricia Kho, who practises at Icon Cancer Centre in Singapore and Bali, shared her expertise alongside Prof. dr. Laksmi Wulandari, Sp.P(K), FCCP, and dr. Erlang Samoedro, Sp.P(K) with dr. Suryanti Dwi Pratiwi, Sp.P(K) moderating the discussions and Dr Arief Bakhtiar, Sp.P(K) delivering the opening remarks. Serena Wee, CEO of Icon Cancer Centre ASEAN, also attended, reinforcing our commitment to collaboration and expanding access to cancer care in Indonesia.

Dr Kho presented on “Unmet Needs in EGFR-Positive NSCLC Patients Post-Osimertinib”, sharing insights into emerging treatments and patient case studies.
